Stellaris v4.2 Patch Notes

Patch 4.2 shipped alongside the Infernals Species Pack, adding a new volcanic planet class and several origins built around it, plus a string of balance passes on species output values.

This patch predates the more sweeping 4.3 “Cetus” rebalance below — if you’re checking numbers from this era against a current game, expect some further adjustment from 4.3 and 4.4 on top of what’s listed here.
